The Xiu Xiu Polaroid Projects
While on tour with the band Xiu Xiu I completed: Xiu Xiu Polaroid Project #1, Xiu Xiu Polaroid Project #2, and Xiu Xiu Polaroid Project #3. Each project consisted of fans bringing in unused polaroid film and self addressed stamped envelopes. I shot the photographs on the tour and mailed the images back to the fans. I think there exists around 2,000 images scattered around the world right now. ANP Quarterly ran an essay in issue 6, and Mark Batty Publisher has printed a book about this.
